*The Club was honored by “Texas Yes!” and “Keep Texas Beautiful” for our “Trash Off” litter control program in June of 2011.
*The Colorado County Commissioner, Judge Prause, issued a proclamation honoring National Garden Week when club members delivered flowers to County and City offices, the public library, the nursing homes, the hospital, and, for the first time, to the ladies who administer the City Jail. Those ladies, who provide a needed (and rarely recognized) service, were probably the most exited and surprised of all to get those beautiful vases of flowers!
