

Career Fair
In addition to providing high school students in Columbus the opportunity to try new experiences such as gardening, pollinator habitat management, event planning, and fundraising through our Youth in the Garden Program, we support the students with information at the Columbus High School Career Fair..
Garden club members share their knowledge and experiences about horticultural and environmental sciences careers.

Scholarships
Any senior graduating from a public, private, or homeschool of Columbus may apply for a Columbus Garden Club Scholarship. All applicants who will be considered. Because we are a garden club, the scholarship committee closely considers applicants with major or minor stud area that includes Horticulture, Biology, Botany, City Planning, Landscaping, Environmental Concerns, Floriculture Agronomy, Land Management, and Plant Pathology.
Scholarships are awarded in May. Upon receipt of documentation of acceptance to a college or university and enrollment in an approved field of study, half the scholarship money is paid at the beginning of the first semester to the registrar of the college or university. The second half of the scholarship money is paid upon receipt of documentation of enrollment for that semester.
